Fr. Tim is a dynamic and loving pastor. He brings with him a real zeal for Christ and a deep love for his congregation. Ordained on February 23, 1992 as a Deacon by Patriarch Mystyslav, and a Priest on May 3, 1992 by Metropolitan Constantine, Fr. Tim is an experienced and influential leader within his parish.

 

On the national level, Fr. Tim is very active in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) of the USA. For many years he served as an Auditor of the UOC and currently is a member of the Metropolitan Council and a member of the Consistory of the UOC of the USA. He is also actively involved in engaging the youth of the United States' Ukrainian Orthodox members, and currently serves as camp manager at All Saints Camp in Emlenton, PA. Fr. Tim also was the Director of Church Camp at All Saints Camp, was the Chaplan at the camp and for several years directed the National Altar Servers Retreat held in Lakeland, Florida. For his tireless efforts he was elevated to Archpriest and awarded the Gold Cross and later on a Jeweled Cross.  

 

 

 

Fr. Timothy Tomson

He is most notably known for his role in leading Pittsburgh's Largest Ukrainian Festival each summer. Fr. Tomson enjoys traveling and meeting new people. He and his wife Svitlana, a native of Ukraine, and their two daughters reside in Mt. Lebanon.
